Sometimes an interior might need more work than the average car. This can be due to extreme mildew, mud, dirt, even bodily fluids. This is what we refer to as an Intense Interior Cleaning.
What’s the difference between this and the Full Interior Cleaning?
We do everything that’s included in the Full Interior Cleaning, but we do it twice as much (due to the condition).
For example, in the Full Interior Cleaning, we might do one or two passes on a seat with our extractor. With the Intense Interior Cleaning, we will do two to four passes on the seat with the extractor.
The Intense service is also necessary if there are bodily fluids present in the seats, carpets, floor mats, etc. Don’t worry, we don’t judge. We’re here to clean the vehicle.
Most vehicles will only need the Full service, but a very small percentage will need the Intense service to tackle the tough, soiled, stains.
Does that mean every last stain and blemish will be removed? Unfortunately, no. The type of stain, how long it’s been there, and the type of material it’s in all determines how much of that stain can be removed. However, we will do our best to reduce the appearance of it.
Instead of the typical 2 to 5 hours to complete the detail, this might take 3 to 6 hours.
Remove items and throw away trash (we’ll use separate bags)
Thorough vacuum of seats, carpets, cup holders, trunk, etc.
Shampoo & steam seats, carpets, floor mats, along with extraction
Thoroughly clean AND steam plastic surfaces
Clean and condition leather to ensure it doesn’t dry out over time
Clean interior and exterior of windows and glass
Final touch ups including seat belt cleaning, spot cleaning, etc.
Yes, we can perform the wash at your home. We service Wilmington, Leland, Boiling Spring Lakes, Southport, Oak Island, and St. James.
Yes, we do. We also need access to the vehicle and enough room to work comfortably.
This all depends on the vehicle. It can take between 3 to 6 hours to complete. We’ve worked on coupes that have taken 5 hours, and SUVs that have taken 3 hours, due to the condition.
At this time, we do not. We do not want to disconnect or remove anything that would compromise your safety. We have machines and tools to ensure proper cleaning even with the seats in.
As you can imagine, we have a wide range of products, tools, and machines to get the job done. As for the products, we don’t stick with one brand. Throughout years of experience, we’ve figured out which products we believe help give the best possible results. Some brands we use are Meguiar’s, Griot’s Garage, Chemical Guys, and plenty more.
Due to the nature of stains, and the material they’re on, some stains will come out better than others. We have extensive knowledge and experience (along with the right tools) to handle most situations. Even then, some stains won’t be fully removed.
